Dues and tax
The Arkansas Coalition of Appraisers is a 501(c)(6) business league, not a charity. Membership dues are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. They may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense, except for any portion attributable to lobbying. Please check with your own tax advisor.
